Big Ben and a Simple Sankalpa

Dear Everyone,

I am more of an early bird than a night owl so consider it a minor victory if make if past the chimes of Big Ben on New Year's Eve. But, fuelled by my Mother-in-Laws wonderful vegetarian wellington, I found myself (just about!) awake in the early hours of January 1st thinking that I really should set some resolutions.

A few moments later, increasingly dozy, but already up to item 3 on my grand wish list, the yogi in me woke up. Of course, I knew deep down that setting out a lengthy, challenging schedule of 'to dos' was never going to bear fruit and I was far better off deciding on one or two super simple intentions (or Sankalpa).

We will explore the concept of Sankalpa in class this month, starting on Thursday January 13th with some 'back to school' online sessions covering the full body from top to toe* and touching on some of the most useful breathwork and meditation/relaxation practices for dealing with the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Those looking to spend a little longer developing their practice this year - and in person rather than on zoom (!) - are warmly invited to book one of the last three spaces on the one day small group mini retreat on April 30th in beautiful Henley-on-Thames. Please do contact me for more information or book via the website.

Finally, a little reminder that a 50% discount code off the price of regular weekly classes is always available for anyone who needs. Just drop me a line.

With very best healthy wishes for 2022,

Caroline
