Who knows what 2021 will bring? Whatever the future holds we can be certain it will come with a healthy dose of change and probably a few surprises.
After the twists and turns of 2020, I imagine many of us feel more open than we might have done a year ago to tackling any challenges that come our way in 2021, and I am certain that yoga’s ‘toolbox’ of breathing, movement and meditation practices can help us navigate the year with a little more ease and a few more smiles.
This year’s online classes will start at 5.30pm on Thursday 7th January with a series of sessions to help us ‘arrive’ into 2021 and open up to whatever the year might bring, as we continue to strengthen and stretch our bodies and quieten our busy minds. I will be offering two classes a week over the course of the month. The Tuesday evening class (5.45-6.30) will be a slightly more dynamic practice and sometimes include elements of qigong and pilates. The Thursday (5.30 – 6.30) class will continue to be a dynamic, but relaxed, session of flowing yoga, breathwork and relaxation. Do let me know if you’d like to be added to the sign up email for either of these.
If you have not taken a class with me on Zoom yet please do get in touch to try your first one for free. Most people find it works far better than expected – and there is a lot to be said for practising in the comfort of your own home!
Please see below for January’s class schedule and hope to see you on my screen soon – and in person before the year is up!
Happy New Year to you all,
