When recently travelling around Cuba (an incredible country full of sunshine and energy!) I was constantly reminded how fortunate most of us are – and what a luxury it is to have the time and space to practice yoga!
As a result, we will be working in classes in the run up to Easter to try and enjoy every single little moment of our yoga practice together – both when in yoga poses (asanas) that we enjoy – and those which we don’t quite so much (but we know are good for us!).
Regular students will remember that in February we followed a sequence designed to strengthen and mobilise all our important joints, and a class to perfect our downward facing dog – a brilliant pose for stretching and strengthening the whole body and balancing the mind. We will continue with a theme each week during March, and, as always do let me know if you have any requests.
I still have a limited number of spaces remaining on my Oxford Mini Retreat on 25 June in the beautiful, historic grounds of St John’s College. There will be two special classes to energise, stretch and strengthen the whole body and leave you feeling grounded, spacious and fully restored. We will also enjoy lunch together and have the chance to visit St John’s famous library and gardens. Please click here
