Being Grateful – June Primrose Hill Yoga news

Dear Everyone,

During such a difficult, unsettling week it feels slightly surreal that we are plummeting head first into a general election. Many of us will be forced to put the cocktail of emotions brought on by events in Borough (and the White House Garden) aside and make as rational a decision as we can.

When life gets tough one of the best tools we have to help ourselves move forward is to encourage a feeling of gratitude. Especially for the simple things in life; the feel of the sun on your face, the smell of a rose bursting into bud, or, on days like today, getting out of the rain to a comforting cup of tea or glass of your favourite wine.

Classes over the next few weeks will help to develop our sense of gratitude. We will focus on really enjoying the ways in which we can breathe, move our bodies, and, of course, completely relax.

In other news, there are now only 3 places left at the one day relaxing and re-energising summer retreat in beautiful rural Berkshire on Sunday 13th August.

The day will include two extended yoga practices, a lunch of local produce, a walk through countryside, drinks and homemade cakes! I am also delighted to let you know that thanks to the kindness of one participant, private transport from central London is also available.
