It seems that we have jumped almost straight from winter into the middle of summer. I am definitely celebrating, but for those of us (myself included) not brilliant at coping with change, sudden shifts in weather can be a little unsettling, even if only at a subconscious level.
With this in mind we will be exploring some more grounding and centering yoga sequences in May, working to strengthen the feet, ankles, knees, legs, hips and abdominals, a good complement to a lot of the backbending and shoulder work we did in April. As ever, all classes will follow a balanced sequence to energise, strengthen and open the whole body at the same time as reducing tension and calming and focusing the mind.
Lastly, thanks so much to those of you who have sent your booking form and confirmed your place on the Oxford Energise & Restore Mini Retreat on 25 June in the beautiful grounds of St John’s College. This event is now full but please let me know if you are interested for next time!
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
